  • Nicole Coates (Lab Manager, 2018-2019) is now attending graduate school at San Jose State University.
  • Lisa Cantrell (Post-Doc, 2013-2017) is now an Assistant Professor at CSU Sacramento.
  • ​Brianna McGee (Lab Manager, 2015-2016) is attending a Ph.D. program in Development Psychology at University of California, Riverside. 
  • Samantha Mitsven (Lab Manager, 2013-2015) worked as a Research Assistant at Stanford in the Cognitive and Systems Neuroscience Lab and is now attending a Ph.D. program in Developmental Psychology at the University of Miami. 
  • Mirjam Harrison (Lab Manager, 2013-2015) is attending a Master's program in Clinical Psychology at Western Washington University.
  • Mee-Kyoung Kwon (Post-Doc until 2015) is now working at UC San Diego at the Autism Center of Excellence.
  • Heidi Baumgartner (Doctoral Student until 2014) is currently working as a Post-Doc at Brown University with Dima Amso.
  • Mielle Setoodehnia (Lab manager, 2012-2013) completed her Masters at the University of Southern California and is now working in a Marketing Firm.
  • Shipra Kanjila (Lab manager, 2012-2013) is completed her Ph.D. in Psychology and a post-doctoral position at John Hopkins University and is now working as a post-doctoral researcher at Carnegie Mellon University.
  • Karinna Hurley (Grad student until 2013) received her Ph.D. in Human Development in 2013 and is currently living in France with her husband.
  • Ian Messenger (Grad student)
  • Jeffrey Phung (Grad student) received his Masters in Psychology in 2013 and moved to the Bay Area.
  • Karen Leung (Lab Manager, 2010-2012) is currently a nurse practitioner candidate at Cal State Fullerton.
  • Stacy Liu (Coding Specialist/Research Assistant 2010-2012) is currently studying abroad in Scotland as a Psychology and English double major.

About the Lab

The Infant Cognition Laboratory explores the development of fundamental cognitive systems and their interactions, including attention, categorization, and memory.
